Statement
The movement of the wind, the activity of small animals, and the resulting falling of fruits, branches, and leaves inspired me. Drawing from this natural experience, I began conceptualizing the idea of using the kinetic energy of falling objects to generate sound from natural elements. I aimed to extend the duration of falling, create interactive relationships with the audience through installation pieces, and provide a more nuanced sensory experience. For example, observing fruits, small stones, and other objects, and throwing them into the installation to hear the sounds they create. Tapping shells, metal pieces, bells, bamboo tubes, or simply waiting quietly for the wind to rustle and time to pass
